TNM093 — Practical Data Visualization and Virtual Reality, 2018


The course introduces theories and practical examples within the lectures. In laboratory exercises the students will try out the practical use of various tools and thus acquire skills necessary for working with visualization (VIS) and virtual reality (VR) applications. Laboratory Exercises

The course examination consists of three comprehensive labs (mini projects). The labs should be carried out in pairs.

    Lab assistants


    The course is examined through the laboratory work (6 ECTS).
    • The VIS parts of the laboratory work are examined during the lab sessions by presenting, and discussing your work with Rickard Englund or Sathish Kottravel.

    • The VR parts are examined in the VR-lab in the Visualization centre. When you have finished your labs and tested them in the VR-lab you should contact Ali Samini who will continously throughout the course schedule examination sessions.
